About Arizona Latin-American Medical Association

Arizona Latin-American Medical Association strives to unify health professionals advocating quality, culturally- competent, accessible health care for Arizona residents.

Our goals are to promote partnerships and innovation to establish a network of health professionals facilitating access to health care for Arizona residents.

We nurture health professionals involved in education, clinical research and innovative health care delivery systems. Enhance collaboration with Amigos de ALMA to develop sustainable cultural initiatives in medicine, arts, and athletics.

In its formative years, ALMA sponsored free health fairs for the uninsured and under-insured. In 1998 we began providing scholarships to students in health careers and have done so every year since.

ALMA is a growing, well-respected organization that is committed to improving our community while also providing ways for members to benefit professionally and socially.
