Casa Latinos Unidos

Casa Latinos Unidos is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Corvallis, Oregon, dedicated to strengthening the Latinx communities of Benton and Linn Counties. Since its incorporation in 2008, the organization has expanded its reach to serve both counties with culturally-specific programs and services designed exclusively for the Latino and Latinx community. Casa Latinos Unidos provides free or low-cost basic needs services and comprehensive programming across five core areas: Family Support, Education and Learning, Leadership and Participation, Economic Inclusion, and Culture and Arts. The organization stands as the only culturally-specific, community-based organization serving both Benton and Linn Counties, offering services to people who face barriers to accessing resources due to cultural, linguistic, and economic reasons. Through partnerships with multiple organizations and agencies, Casa Latinos Unidos facilitates programs that help community members meet basic needs, build resilience and capacity through education and leadership development, and celebrate their cultural heritage. With offices in Corvallis and Lebanon, the organization serves the greater mid-valley region, including presence in Greater Albany Public Schools. Casa Latinos Unidos is committed to supporting economic development, health equity, workforce development, and youth advancement within the Latinx community. The organization's approach centers the community in all its work, recognizing the cultural wealth and capacity that immigrants bring to the local economy and society while addressing the systemic challenges they encounter.
