Coro Primavera

Coro Primavera is the Spanish choir at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN, dedicated to enriching the campus community through music and cultural celebration. As the only Spanish-language choir on campus, Coro Primavera provides a unique musical experience that brings together students from across the tri-campus community to perform liturgical and cultural music.

The ensemble regularly performs at La Misa en Español held in the Basilica on Sunday afternoons, delivering authentic Spanish-language sacred music to the Notre Dame community. Beyond regular Sunday services, Coro Primavera showcases its talents at numerous cultural and religious events throughout the academic year, including El Día de Los Muertos, La Misa para la Virgen de Guadalupe, Las Posadas, and Latin Expressions celebrations.

Under the direction of experienced leadership, Coro Primavera has expanded its reach and impact in recent years, participating in inter-choir collaborations and off-campus performances that extend its cultural influence beyond the Notre Dame campus. The choir welcomes singers of all experience levels who are passionate about Spanish music and interested in celebrating LatinX heritage through artistic performance.

Coro Primavera's mission centers on building community through song and faith while promoting LatinX culture and multicultural understanding at Notre Dame. Whether performing at traditional religious observances or contemporary cultural celebrations, the choir continues to uplift and strengthen the LatinX and broader multicultural community through the power of music and shared artistic expression.
