Esperanza United mobilizes Latinas and Latin@ communities to end gender-based violence through comprehensive, culturally-relevant services based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. With nearly 40 years of proven success, Esperanza United provides critical advocacy and resources addressing domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. The organization operates a confidential 24/7 bilingual crisis hotline serving Minnesota residents, complemented by extensive local programming designed to enhance safety for Latin@ survivors and strengthen youth leadership. Founded and led by Latinas, Esperanza United grounds its work in deep community listening and adapts continuously to meet evolving community needs. The organization collaborates with service providers and systems throughout Saint Paul and beyond to ensure Latin@ families and communities receive quality, appropriate, and effective resources. Beyond Minnesota, Esperanza United extends its impact nationally through training, research, and public policy work rooted in the Latina Advocacy Framework.
