About General Consulate of Colombia in Boston, Massachusetts, USA
The Colombian consulates were created with the purpose of protecting, informing and looking after the interests of Colombian citizens abroad; and likewise, guide and collaborate with foreigners who visit Colombia in the procedures established by Colombian laws. These offices are in charge of different legal procedures that help any Colombian or foreigner to have the documents and procedures corresponding to each country.
It is important to keep in mind that each Consulate must comply with the same program of activities as stipulated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, but modifications may be made due to the laws established in the country where its headquarters are located.
The Colombian State, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has established the operation of the Boston Consulate in the United States. This consulate serves Colombians and foreigners located in the States of Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island.
All Colombian nationals have access to the services of this consulate without the need to resort to intermediaries.
