About Hispanic Roundtable
The Hispanic Roundtable is a professional civic organization serving the Olympia, WA community and surrounding regions including Thurston, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Mason, and Pacific counties. This gathering of dedicated professionals meets bimonthly to support individuals, agencies, and programs serving the Hispanic community through strategic partnerships and coordinated resource sharing. Members working across agencies that serve Spanish-speaking populations exchange information, address current community needs, and develop professional relationships that strengthen service delivery throughout the South Sound region. The organization focuses on four core mission areas: strengthening the Latino community through partnerships, advancing educational opportunities, building community capacity, and ensuring cultural representation in local institutions. The Hispanic Roundtable works to expand access to post-secondary education for Latino students, increase awareness of available community resources and services, improve communications between the Hispanic community and the broader population, and establish meaningful connections with other communities of color. Through initiatives like the Latinx Youth Summit, the organization directly supports high school students across five counties with college preparation workshops, career guidance, and mentorship connections. The organization welcomes professionals and community members who are committed to advancing the well-being and success of the Latino population in the Olympia area and throughout the South Sound.
