About Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association
Los Abogados is Arizona's Hispanic Bar Association.
Los Abogados was founded in 1976 by a group of Latino lawyers and law students to create a space for community and the empowerment of Latinos in the legal profession. Ever since, Los Abogados has been a familia for Latino lawyers, law students, and judges across the state of Arizona.
Since its inception, Los Abogados has continued to grow and expand the reach of its programming and activities. Los Abogados offers a wide range of opportunities for those in the legal profession. We host regular luncheon CLE programming on legal topics of current interest and our social and family events allow members to connect and network, including our annual Gala and Golf Tournament.
Whether it be providing free LSAT courses to future lawyers through the Pipeline Fellowship Program, mentoring Latino law students via the Los Abogados Mentorship Program, funding scholarships for Latino law students in Arizona from the Hon. Valdemar Cordova Scholarship, or diversifying the bench, Los Abogados is active in promoting the diversity of the legal profession as a whole.
The mission of Los Abogados is to develop, empower and support the Latino community through the advancement of the legal profession.
