National Hispanic Leadership Agenda

The National Hispanic Leadership Agenda (NHLA) serves as a premier coalition of 46 prominent Latino organizations based in Washington, DC, driving comprehensive advocacy on civil rights and policy issues affecting the 58 million Latinos living in the United States. NHLA brings together distinguished Hispanic leaders and major national organizations to establish strategic policy priorities and raise public awareness of critical issues impacting both the Latino community and the nation as a whole.

Founded in 1991 as a nonpartisan association, NHLA operates with a clear mandate to amplify Latino visibility and strengthen Hispanic influence in American affairs. The organization's coalition members represent the full diversity of the Latino community, including Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, and other Hispanic Americans.
