SC Hispanic Outreach

SC Hispanic Outreach provides comprehensive support services to the Latino community throughout South Carolina, with a strong presence in Columbia, SC. Founded in 1995, the organization delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate programs across multiple essential areas including health, education, and employment services. Their health initiatives include HIV prevention and education, along with community health testing services for HIV, cholesterol, and diabetes screening available daily. The organization also offers the Building Financial Stability Course, designed to equip community members with essential skills for managing finances and achieving long-term economic security. Additionally, SC Hispanic Outreach operates the Healthy Life Food Bank Program, which provides nutritious groceries and resources to families in need throughout the region. As the oldest Latino organization in South Carolina, they continue to expand their service offerings, with plans to launch an Income Tax and ITIN Program and English Classes in the coming months. The organization also provides notary public services through certified professionals, ensuring that community members have access to reliable document notarization for contracts, affidavits, power of attorney, and other legal paperwork.
