Texas Fuego

Texas Fuego is the first and only Latinx-Hispanic co-ed spirit group at the University of Texas at Austin, serving the Austin, TX community since its official establishment on August 24, 2016. As a registered student organization, Texas Fuego operates on four foundational pillars: Culture, Spirit, Service, and Social, creating a comprehensive platform for student engagement and community involvement.

The organization specializes in fostering socio-cultural spaces where students of Hispanic and Latinx heritage can celebrate and embrace their cultural backgrounds freely and unapologetically. Texas Fuego actively participates in university events to increase visibility and demonstrate school spirit, while simultaneously giving back to Austin's Hispanic and Latinx communities through targeted service projects, community initiatives, and fundraising efforts.

Texas Fuego welcomes students of all cultural backgrounds who are interested in joining a spirit group dedicated to meaningful community engagement.
