Unidos Bridging Community

Unidos Bridging Community is a Latinx-led nonprofit organization serving McMinnville and Yamhill County, Oregon, dedicated to promoting integration, participation, and success of Latinx individuals and families. Since 2012, Unidos has delivered culturally responsive programming across multiple service areas including health and wellness initiatives, workforce development, and community building activities. The organization provides specialized services such as OHP enrollment assistance with healthcare benefits navigation, coverage renewal support, and referrals to wellness resources. Unidos also conducts comprehensive COVID-19 outreach, including prevention education and coordination of mobile testing and vaccination events throughout the region. Through its Agriculture Worker Wellness program, Community Outreach Specialists visit worksites to provide health prevention education, personal safety information, and connections to essential social services. Unidos works collaboratively with local and state government organizations, schools, churches, and businesses to maximize community impact. The organization recognizes that sustainable change requires uplifting Latinx community leaders and ensuring they have access to resources and support necessary for families and communities to thrive.
